CompAir offers a full range of energy efficient and environmentally friendly compressed air dryers, such as refrigerant dryers, heatless and heated desiccant dryers as well as HOC dryers.
Air is a colourless, odourless, tasteless mixture of many gases, primarily nitrogen and oxygen. It is naturally contaminated with solid particles, such as dust, sand, soot and salt crystals. The type of contamination varies depending on the environments and altitude.
Water vapour is another natural ingredient which can be found in variable amounts in the air. The amount of water vapour or any other contaminating products which the air contains plays a very important role in the quality of the end-product produced by your compressor system.
Aside from the end-product, water is well known to have damaging and corrosive effects on your compressor system. Untreated air at atmospheric pressure contains large amounts of water as well as other contaminants such as oil droplets and dirt particles.
When the air is compressed, the concentration of moisture and other contaminants increases. If allowed to remain in the system, this corrosive mixture has a detrimental effect on pneumatic equipment, causing unnecessary production downtime, product spoilage and reduced equipment life.
Compressed air filters are responsible for removing the oil and dirt content from the compressed air whilst air dryers are used to remove water vapour before the air reaches the point of use.
Safe operation / protect your investment
Untreated air can cause corrosion and damage to your pipework and the internal structure of your air compressor. This can eventually lead to a system breakdown, costing you time and money. An air dryer will help to keep your system running damage-free and your operation safe and reliable with long term results.
High-quality end-product / peace of mind
Whatever your application, you need to be sure that your end-product is of a high quality. Air that contains water vapour can cause product spoilage which can be very costly to businesses. An air dryer ensures that air is pure and dry before it reaches the point of use.
Refrigerant dryers are the most common type of drier technology used by many industries. As the name suggests, heat exchangers are used to cool compressed air which will condense the bulk amount of water vapour within the air. Once the compressed air is cooled and water is removed, the air is reheated to around room temperature to ensure no more vapour forms within the pipe system.
CompAir refrigerant dryers are characterised by their energy efficiency, which helps to reduce running costs thanks to their patented heat exchanger technology.
Models F120HS to F180HS are so named because the volume flow of each model ranges from 12 to 180 m³/min. These high capacity dryers offer fantastic features and benefits, including:
For a low to medium capacity refrigerated air dryer, we recommend models F4S to F100S which have volume flows ranging from 0.4 to 10 m³/min.

CompAir offers a range of high efficiency heatless and heat regenerative compressed air dryers for the removal of water vapour from a compressed air supply. Adsorption compressed air dryers remove moisture by passing air over a regenerative desiccant material, which attracts and retains the water vapour molecules. The term pressure dew point refers to the temperature at which water condensation will occur, a typical pressure dew point specified for an adsorption dryer is -40°C which prevents corrosion and inhibits the growth of microorganisms.

The CompAir A-Series dryers use the heat less, or PSA, method to regenerate the adsorbent material. These are the simplest adsorption type available and have long been the choice for many industries and applications. Reliable and cost-effective, and for small to medium flow systems, these are often the only viable technology available. Modular versions such as the A-Series are an even more reliable, smaller, more compact and lightweight solution. They can be installed in the compressor room or at the point of use.
Compared to traditional twin tower dryer designs, the CompAir compressed air dryer’s unique modular construction is typically a lot smaller and lighter than comparable twin tower desiccant dryers. Providing a simple to install and easy to maintain design which is fully corrosion protected and supported by numerous international standard approvals.
A_XS and A_TX series adsorption dryers have activated carbon stages & are a reliable and proven purification unit which meets extreme requirements when the compressed air must not only be dried, but also be odourless and free from oil.
Series A_TV and A_RS series adsorption dryers utilise active-heating, combined with intensive vacuum supported cooling, which defines the industry standard for heat-regenerative dryers.

For many oil-free applications the heat-of-compression drying process is the most energy efficient way. CompAir offers a range of highly efficient HOC dryers offering lowest operating costs and extremely low-noise operation.
In this drying process, untreated, humid compressed air is initially confronted by a pre-filter protecting a traditional, but modified refrigeration circuit. The majority of the water vapour is effectively removed from the incoming air in this first stage.
The second stage consists of a highly compact desiccant drying stage, protected before and after by high-performance oil / water aerosol and particle removal filters, which serves to further reduce the moisture content of the air to a standard dew point of -40°C. Finally, clean, dry compressed air exits via the patented air/air heat-exchanger to be re-heated and delivered to the air distribution system.
