The TurboScrew compressors with their unique bi-turbo technology are characterised by outstanding fuel savings, a very low weight of 3,500 kg and highly environmentally friendly performance in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/1628 Stage V. The TurboScrew compressors are equipped with a recognised SCRT® system (Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology), which removes almost all soot particles and nitrogen oxides from diesel exhaust gases.

TurboScrew technology
The patented TurboScrew system is CompAir's active contribution to energy saving and environmental protection. The CompAir screw compressor is driven by a turbocharged Cummins diesel engine. This has an additional turbocharger to pre-compress the compressed air before it enters the CompAir screw compressor.
Features | Benefits |
Reliable, electronically controlled Cummins engine (QSB series); equipped with an exhaust gas treatment system, (SCRT®) the compressor meets all of the statutory threshold values of Stage V according (EU) 2016/1628 | Servicing of the engine as previously (no higher specifications for engine oil or diesel fuel; in its 2nd life-cycle, the system can also be used at little cost in countries with no emissions controls (downgrade) |
Mobile 5 program: up to 5 years warranty on the package except engine | Operational safety with warranty |
SCRT® system = oxidation catalytic converter, diesel particle filter (DPF) made from sintered metal and SCR module | Cleaning of the diesel particle filter (DPF) with conventional high-pressure cleaner possible; very low maintenance costs |
Patented pre-compression of the compressed air with additional turbo charger | Low operating costs thanks to high fuel savings (up to 30% possible in comparison to conventional compressors) |
Operating weight below 3.500 kg | Can be moved with transporter or SUV. Pressure vessel check only every 5 years. Only overrun brake required |
4 large front and side folding doors that open wide, made from cor-rosion-resistant, galvanised steel plate with durable powder coating. | Easy and quick to service; long service life, even under demanding conditions or environmental factors |
Sheet metal components screw on individually | Easy to replace if damaged |
Large diesel and urea tank (AdBlue) | Continuous operation without process interruption |
Electronic monitoring system for engine, compressor and SCRT® system | High operational reliability with automatic shutdown in the event of a fault, e.g.: engine oil pressure too low, cooling water temperature too high, charge air temperature too high, and many more. |
Standard fuel pre-filter with water separator | Long engine service life thanks to effective separation of water and dirt particles |
Standard oil temperature control valve | High reliability, stability and efficiency thanks to optimal operating temperature and reduced condensate formation |
User-friendly display | Quick and easy to operate: operating pressure set in 0.1 bar steps; individual fault display; fast fault diagnostics |
Yellow warning beacon | Additional visual display for warnings and faults |
Battery disconnect switch as standard | Operational protection against unintentional switch-on |
AirPlus - many options for numerous applications
- Aftercooler 5) with automatic condensate separation. Reduces the water content in the compressed air. Additional downstream built-in heat exchanger that utilises the heat of the compressor oil to heat the compressed air
 - Ultra-fine filter 5)(in addition to the above-mentioned aftercooler) Air treatment with ultra fine filters in accordance with ISO 8573.1 incl. ZTV-ING Part 3 Para. 4 with a residual oil content of less than 0.01 ppm
 - Chalwyn valve
